Memorial May 2019

Pioneer Natural Resources - Military Resource Group

Pioneer Natural Resources is proud of our veterans and supports the military community! The PXD Military Resource Group is excited to host this team and honor the fallen, uniting behind those who have sacrificed for our freedoms.
Pioneer has increased its sponsorship of Carry The Load each year, as our company recognizes the importance of restoring the true meaning of Memorial Day and to always remember our nations fallen heroes and their families. The MRG has been a part of Carry The Load for the past 3 years, raising $115,000 during that time to support the mission.
This year, the Carry The Load’s West Coast Relay Team will be stopping at our Midland office for a rally as they make their trek from Seattle to Dallas. The Carry The Load relay team travels across the country during the month of May to provide an active way to connect Americans to the sacrifices of our Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families. They will be at our Midland office on May 17 from 12pm-2pm, so stay to celebrate their journey if you are able.
Not in Midland on the 17th? Don’t worry as we have a wonderful way to participate in Dallas over Memorial Weekend. Carry The Load’s flagship event in Dallas from May 26-27 is a two-day embodiment of the values Carry The Load hopes to further — a celebration of heroes, remembrance of the fallen, and education in respectful observance. The Dallas Memorial March is also the culmination of Memorial May fundraising activities to benefit our Continuum of Care partners.
Reverchon Park in Dallas hosts the two-day event featuring music, inspirational speeches, stories of fallen heroes, flag ceremonies and more. No registration or payment is required to attend — we simply ask you to respect those who have given everything to protect and serve us all.
Please join us and together we can help restore the true meaning of Memorial Day. Join this team and create your own personal page to tell your story. Funds that you raise will "roll up" to the team total, and you can earn your Load Carrier shirt by raising $200 or more.
