Carry the Load designated the Custodes Libertatis Memorial Foundation as a nonprofit partner for the first time in 2018. We are thankful to report that this year marks Custodes Libertatis' 5th consecutive year as a nonprofit partner! Carry the Load's incredible national outreach will directly support our mission to provide education scholarships to the children of fallen Naval Academy graduates. 

Importantly, Carry the Load provides a critical opportunity for both our scholarship recipients and our donors to participate in a meaningful event at a location close to their own homes--something Custodes Libertatis itself would never be able to do on its own as a small, all-volunteer 501(c)(3). Carry The Load is a non-profit dedicated to providing active, meaningful ways to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes — military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders. 

I plan to remember, honor, and celebrate our fallen Naval Academy heroes by participating in the event and raising funds to support Custodes Libertatis and other organizations which help law enforcement, first responders, military members, veterans and their families. You can make an impact with your financial gift, or by simply signing up on our team and joining one of the marches or relays across the United States!
