Lance Corporal Angel Garcia proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps after enlisting in 2010. He later fulfilled his dream of becoming a police officer, serving the El Paso community with heart, integrity, and bravery until his death in the line of duty in 2012.

Angel Garcia was known for his compassion, humor, and deep sense of service. Whether helping a child during “Shop with a Cop” or paying for a homeless veteran’s meal, he always put others first. His kindness, work ethic, and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Angel’s life was defined by service—both in uniform and in his daily actions. He is remembered for his selflessness and unwavering desire to protect and uplift others. His memory lives on through a memorial truck honoring fallen officers and through the lives he touched.
