Lance Corporal Brandon T. Lara entered boot camp in December 2006 and graduated in March 2007. He volunteered and served two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Lara served with pride, dedication, and honor. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service.

Brandon was passionate about serving his country. He was loyal and loving. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for his family, for his friends, and for his country. He ultimately gave his life to protect us all. His unfailing willingness to do so makes him a true hero.
