Dan Kendall was a firefighter with the city of Duncanville, Texas for 12 years. He had recently been promoted to Driver Engineer. Dan loved his crew and his department. When he was not at the Fire Department, he was home with his family and running his real-estate business. Helping and serving others was Dan’s mission in life. He inspired many to always do the right thing even if it was not fun or easy. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ with his whole heart, as well as his wife and son. Dan strived to always live his best life and serve his community. Dan would say, “Every day is not good, but there is good in every day, and guess what… today I’m gonna find a whole lot more good than bad cause I’m looking for it.” Reflecting on these words, his wife Jessica said, “We will always live by these words until we go to our eternal home, which is Heaven. Until we meet again Babe. We love you and miss you every day.”
