Dennis Murphy Joined the Air Force in 1959. He was part of the Fire Protect Specialists and served in Vietnam. He was later stationed at Luke AFB in Arizona. After active duty, Murphy continued his career with Civil Service as Assistant Fire Chief. In 1987, he was promoted to Deputy Fire Chief at Hill AFB. In 1997 he retired as Fire Chief.

Dennis was a family man, a man of God, a Minnesota Vikings fan, and loved the outdoors. You could often find him playing cards with the family, bowling, fishing, hunting, camping, or cheering his grandkids on at their sporting events. He built a love for bingo in Nevada and often played Keno.

Everyone who Dennis Murphy met became family. No one left as a stranger. He showed everyone what love truly was.
