About Eric Duckworth

Eric joined the Army right after high school. He served with the Infantry but was later assigned to the 759th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado. Eric started his tour of duty in Iraq in August of 2006 and was scheduled to complete his 3rd tour and return home in November 2007.

Eric had a huge personality and felt comfortable in all situations. He had the greatest smile, was a loyal and emotionally generous man. Eric loved being a member of the U.S. Army and serving his country.

The only thing Eric loved more than Nascar racing and the Dallas Cowboys was his family. He was a proud father, husband, son, and brother. Eric was thrilled to be a husband and father. He took his roles seriously and pursued them passionately. Eric is survived by many loved ones who are honored to be a part of his legacy.
