Specialist Keith Alan Gilbert served for almost ten years in the U.S. Army, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, III Armored Corps at Fort Hood, Texas. He deployed to Iraq in 2010 for over a year. He then moved to Fort Gordon, Georgia where he served with 707th Military Intelligence Battalion. He was a 94F, spending most of his time fixing computers and networks. Keith was always willing to drop everything to help those he loved. Doing work for neighbors, spending time with his son, and taking care of his wife’s students were all things that he loved to do. He was often found watching the Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves play baseball.

Keith Gilbert kept pushing until the end and was one of the strongest people around.
