Corporal Michael Keith Lawler honorably served in the United States Army his whole life. He was stationed in multiple locations during the Afghanistan and Iraq war period. He took part in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, standing steadfast alongside his brothers and sisters in arms and defending the country he deeply loved.
Mike was a fierce protector to all he loved and a loyal friend, confidant, and partner. Known for standing up for those who could not stand for themselves, he was the type who would do anything for anyone. His presence was larger than life, a force of nature that left an indelible impression on everyone around him.
He carried his injuries with quiet resilience, never once complaining. His devotion to his country and his fellow soldiers defined his life, and his unwavering spirit of service and sacrifice will live on as his legacy. Mike would have fought to his last day to preserve the freedom he cherished for others.
