Dallas Memorial March

Where It All Started

Carry The Load’s flagship event is a two-day embodiment of the values Carry The Load hopes to further — a celebration of heroes, remembrance of the fallen, and education in respectful observance. The Dallas Memorial March is also the culmination of Memorial May fundraising activities to benefit our Continuum of Care partners.

Celebrations conclude at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day in observance of the National Moment of Remembrance — established by Congress to encourage a moment of national unity to pause and remember those who have given everything to protect us.

Military, first responders and their families need your support. Begin fundraising today to fund support programs.

The March

The centerpiece of the two-day event is our 23-hour March beginning at 4 pm on Sunday and culminating 3 pm on Monday in observation of the National Moment of Remembrance. The March is the symbol of how Carry The Load started, represents carrying the fallen heroes we honor, and we welcome you to join whether for 23 hours or 20 minutes.

The Two-Day Rally

Reverchon Park in Dallas hosts the two-day event featuring music, inspirational speeches, stories of fallen heroes, flag ceremonies and more. No registration or payment is required to attend — we simply ask you to respect those who have given everything to protect and serve us all.

Pitching a tent is a great way to bond with friends and family, while meeting kindred spirits from the community — all while enjoying the full two days of festivities.

Similar to camping, there is nothing more communal than tailgating. Check out our guidelines for tailgating inside Reverchon Park during the Rally.
