Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. In memory of those who died that day, a full schedule of events is planned throughout northern Texas this weekend.

National Day of Service and Remembrance to be held at fort Sill National Cemetery

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Fort Sill National Cemetery has partnered with Carry The Load for the second annual National Day of Service and Remembrance.

This volunteer based event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Road. Volunteers are asked to come out and help clean the cemetery in honor of the fallen service members. Read more.

Dallas Nonprofit to Hold Events This Weekend to Commemorate the 20th Anniversary of 9/11

Volunteer Callout For 9/11 Service At Bay Pines National Cemetery

BAY PINES, FL — Volunteers are needed at Bay Pines National Cemetery for the upcoming commemoration and day of service that will honor the memory of those who lost their lives 9/11.

Activities are scheduled Friday, Sept. 10, starting at 9:30 a.m. A brief ceremony will kick off the events at the Veterans Monument in the roundabout area of the cemetery at Veterans Affairs Bay Pines. See more HERE.
