Carry The Load National Relay – West Coast Route 2018
Carry The Load is a non-profit dedicated to providing active, meaningful ways to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes — military, law enforcement, firefighters, rescue personnel and their families. Their National Relay is an event that begins at the end of April and spans the month of May traveling across the country walking & cycling to honor our nation's heroes.
The West Coast route of Carry The Load’s National Relay begins high in the Pacific Northwest at Victor Steinbrueck Park in Seattle’s historic district.

KTBS 3, KPXJ CW 21 kick off Celebrate Our Freedom 2017
Carry the Load and help remember those who gave their lives for freedom on July 1. Carry the Load participants will walk from the stage at Riverview Park in downtown Shreveport to the Eagle statue on Clyde Fant Parkway, then place flags thanks to Diamond Jacks at the Eagle before walking back.
