Where to find 9/11 observances in the Inland Empire

The 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks will be marked across the Inland Empire.

Events range from service days to commemorations with speeches and music.

Remembrances across Riverside and San Bernardino counties include:

Riverside:

Volunteers will spruce up Riverside National Cemetery on Wednesday, Sept. 11 to observe Patriot Day.

Carry The Load, a national nonprofit group, will host volunteers between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. They will clean headstones and otherwise beautify the grounds.
