Staff Sergeant Adam Finseth served five honorable years as an infantry rifleman, SAW gunner, team and squad leader with the distinguished and storied 101st Airborne Division. Through the course of 27 months of combat in Iraq, Finseth set himself apart from his peers as a distinguished leader perpetually exceeding the status quo. His constant professionalism was an example for all to strive towards.

Above any other quality that Adam possessed, he was first and foremost selfless. Anyone who knew him knew of his selflessness. Regardless of the scenario or situation, his needs were the furthest thing from his mind. Every career choice he made demonstrated this priority for serving others.

Regarding Adam Finseth’s legacy, what is most important to acknowledge is his love for his family. Adam is survived by the most extraordinary wife and children that anyone could ask for. He loved his family desperately and lived entirely for them. Every motivation he ever had was to be the best he possibly could be as a husband and father.
