Allan E. Brown

Sergeant First Class Allan Brown enlisted in March 2004 and deployed to Iraq in 2006, 2008 and 2009, and then to Afghanistan in 2014. He was assigned to the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. Sgt. 1st Class Brown died from injuries received during a suicide vest bombing attack on November 12, 2016, at Bagram, Afghanistan.

Allan’s commitment to service was unwavering. After his injury, he cared more about those around him than himself. His knowledge of his craft and his willingness to help others stood out most to those with whom he served.
