Brian loved his fellow soldiers, his job, and Jesus. He shared Christ with others by how he lived and in a weekly Bible study. Brian exemplified the ideal soldier. His strengths included: high moral and ethical values, physical fitness, high intellect, and a compassion for others. Brian moved fluidly between two roles that cause many soldiers problems–the role of the leader and the role of the follower. He quickly and easily recognized which was required in any given situation, and then responded accordingly.
