Sergeant Cody L. Bowman allowed his dream and enlisted in the Army in 2012. He served two tours at Fort Bliss with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division. Bowman was later stationed in Germany with the Regimental Engineer Squadron, 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment.

After an injury he was transfer to WTB, Ft Sam Houston, Texas. Finally, he interned with the Defense Intel Agency until his death. Cody wanted to be an “Army guy” since the age of four and never wavered on this. He joined the Army straight out of high school and excelled quickly. He attained the rank of E-5 promotable Sergeant at the age of 23. He was a proud father of a baby girl, Alice, a loving brother and son.

Cody wanted to serve his country for life. He was a soldier’s soldier and great human.
