Geanny Bada

Fallen Hero’s Hometown and State: Corona, CA

Branch of Service: United States Air Force

Rank: Senior Airman

Senior Airman Geanny Bada was an F-16 crew chief with the 14th AMU at Misawa Air Base, Japan. He took on many responsibilities and hobbies during his time at Misawa, among them, fixing up a 1991 R32 Nissan Skyline, and boxing. Bada died of sustained head trauma during an on-base boxing event.

Geanny was determined, supportive, and enjoyed seeing others succeed. He always had a happy attitude and knew how to lift others up, even if they thought a situation was “impossible.” He had a favorite saying, “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says it is possible.”

Geanny’s priorities were his family and friends. They meant the world to him and everyone being together would make him the happiest. Whether it was a small gathering, a big party, or a simple hang-out, being with his family and friends was what mattered most at the end of the day.
