West Coast relay walks through Sacramento in honor of fallen military members, first responders
Sacramento (May 4) — It’s called Carry the Load and it started 10 years ago with a pair of Navy SEALs. “They were angry about friends they’d lost and they felt the true meaning of Memorial Day had been lost,” said Michael “Goldy” Golden, the Carry the Load West Coast relay manager. “So they got together and put on backpacks, put weights in those backpacks and started to walk.” See more HERE.
